ICE OWLS ACQUIRE 20 YEAR VETERAN HEAD COACH
The Ice Owls are proud to announce that our Head Coach for the 2013-14 Season has been found!
Bob O'Brien. A 20 year coaching veteran, and USA Hockey Level 4 Coach has coached at all levels from learn to skate, all the way up the college level. He spent his early coaching years studying under the tutelage of Yale's Bruce Wolanin, and Sacred Heart's Sean Hannah. Bob also served as Greater New Haven Hockey's Director of Coaches, certifying many coaches for the first time, including Stanley Cup Champion Goaltender, Mike Richter, and SCSU's Alum player, and current assistant coach, Richie Minnix. Bob brings to the Owls an aggressive coaching style and experience on and off the ice.
